    2023 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon â€" AKA "What Happens When a Wrangler Hits the Gym, Gets a Truck Bed, and Chooses Violence"
    Dear Diary,
    Day 5 on the Bay Hyundai lot. The other trucks won't make eye contact with me. The Altimas have formed a support group. I think the Palisade just curtsied. I didn't ask for this power. I was BORN with it.
    â€" The Gladiator
    26,522 miles. That's IT. This blacked-out menace is basically still in the plastic wrap. Somebody bought a Rubicon Gladiator, barely used it, and now it's YOUR problem to go be legendary in. What a time to be alive.
    Picture this: Jeep engineers were sitting around a table. One of them said "what if we took a Wrangler..." and another one said "...and gave it a MULLET?" Business in the front. Party in the back. TRUCK BED. The Gladiator was born and the roads have never been safe since.
    3.6L V6. 285 horsepower. 260 lb-ft of torque. An 8-speed automatic that shifts like it's got something to prove. This isn't a grocery getter with an identity crisis. This is a rock-crawling, trail-eating, mud-slinging PICKUP that also looks unreasonably good in a Chick-fil-A drive-thru.
    RUBICON trim. You already know what that means but let's say it louder for the people in the Colorados:

    Black Clearcoat outside. Black inside. This Gladiator didn't choose darkness. Darkness applied and got ACCEPTED. Murdered out from bumper to tailgate. It doesn't reflect light â€" it ABSORBS confidence and redistributes it to the driver.
    4WD because pavement is a suggestion and this Gladiator doesn't take suggestions. It takes TRAILS. It takes MOUNTAINS. It takes your boring weekend plans and replaces them with stories your coworkers won't believe on Monday.
    Crew Cab means four doors. Bring your people. Bring your gear. Throw a kayak in the bed. Throw two kayaks. Throw your old life in there too because you're a Gladiator owner now and things are DIFFERENT.
    Truck bed + Jeep capability = the vehicle that does EVERYTHING and apologizes for NOTHING.

    FADA Recommendations: Consumer Lawsuits Relative to Websites

    FADA is aware that an individual in South Florida has filed numerous suits claiming that the chat feature on a dealer's website violates Florida's Security of Communications Act (section 934.01). The basis of the claim is that chat users are not informed that their chat may be recorded/maintained by the dealer. While our lawyers do not believe this violates Florida law and have moved to dismiss many of these suits, there is an easy way to protect against these types of claims. If you use a third-party vendor they undoubtedly place a link to their terms and conditions in the chat box. Our lawyers believe this is sufficient to meet any disclosure requirements. However, in an abundance of caution, FADA suggests that you add the following type of disclaimer to your chat box:

    • As ComplyAuto has discussed on several occasions, the CDK cyber incident could trigger, among other duties, the obligation for affected dealers to notify the FTC regarding the incident under the federal Safeguards Rule. Yesterday, it was announced that the FTC and CDK have agreed that should CDK's internal investigation reveal that a notice is required, that CDK will issue one omnibus notice to the FTC covering the incident, and that notice would relieve each CDK dealer's obligation to independently notify the FTC. Indeed, according to NADA, the FTC has stated that "dealers have no obligation to file a breach notification with the FTC related to this matter." Read more about what this means for dealers here.
